  1. Go to the following URL https://id.avast.com/#login and log in to your account.
  2. After log-in into your account click on your name which is given at the top right section, a drop-down list will appear.
  3. On the drop-down list click on PROFILE DETAILS.
  4. On the Profile Details page scroll down to the bottom and click on the button DELETE ACCOUNT.
  5. Once you click on the delete account button, a pop-up message will appear, click on OK to permanently delete your account.

Delete Your Avast account Through Email

Below are simple steps to delete your account successfully;

  1. Open your email account that is registered with the application or website.
  2. Now compose an email and enter the email address customerservice@avast.com
  3. On Subject Type “REQUEST TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT”.
  4. Now write an email requesting them to delete your account from their database and to wipe all your information with them if any.

  6. Now Click “Y” and press the “Enter” key.

Sometimes it’s not possible to uninstall Avast the standard way – using the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS in the control panel.

  1. Download avastclear.exe on your desktop
  2. Start Windows in Safe Mode
  3. Open (execute) the uninstall utility
  4. If you installed Avast in a different folder than the default, browse for it. (Note: Be careful! The content of any folder you choose will be deleted!)
  5. Click REMOVE
  6. Restart your computer
